We're the most dynamic and most misunderstood sign in the zodiac, and for good reason.
One minute you love us, and the next minute you hate us.
We are the best, and for those same reasons, we are the worst.
1. We're manipulative.
We get what we want, but we do it honestly.
We're not going to lie to you, but we always make a pretty convincing argument with the truth.
Sometimes, our end goals are more important than the steps taken to get there, making us a little insensitive when it comes to other people's feelings.
So, while our manipulative skills would be great in a career like investigative work, they're not so great in relationships.
2. We're great at sex.
Our sex is rarely boring, and we love it.
But, we get bored easily.
Sex plays a huge role in our relationships, so when we're bored of the sex, the frustrations blur into other areas of the relationship.
I'm never mad when a guy is 10 minutes late to our dinner date; I'm mad because our sex is predictable.
3. We're loyal.
If we love someone, we have his or her back 100 percent of the time.
We protect this person and make sure he or she doesn't get hurt.
4. We're spiteful.
If you hurt us, we will hold a grudge and let it build until we explode.
We expect others to be just as loyal as we are, and if they're not, we don't forgive very easily.
We certainly don't forget it, which means we won't let you forget it, either.
5. We're brave and determined.
We chase things with the full intention of winning.
We jump into a tank full of sharks and fight until there's nothing left to fight. But sometimes, we lose.
We don't consider all the consequences of our actions. We're impulsive and get in way over our heads.
But regardless, our bravery is one of the biggest reasons we're successful.
6. We're mysterious.
You'll never be bored.
Where's the fun in knowing everything about someone?
We like to give people half the answers, just to experience the thrill of making them guess. We love our secrets.
But not all secrets are good, and people grow frustrated with us.
It's difficult dating a Scorpio because you feel like there's always something more to know about him or her.
7. We're funny.
Our sense of humor comes from a place of truth. We think fart jokes are annoying, and your amateur comedy skit won't make us laugh.
We enjoy witty conversations with honest, insightful jokes.
People like being around us because we have a blunt sense of humor, but it can also be offensive.
If you're sensitive or enjoy slapstick jokes, you won't get along with us.
We'll probably just hurt your feelings.
8. We observe.
It takes us two seconds to evaluate a person's vibe. We know if we like you right away.
Some call it judgmental, but we prefer the term "observational."
Naturally, we're guarded people. We don't like spending our time with people who aren't worth it.
But when we decide to trust someone and the person lets us down, we get a little feisty.
Don't think making it into the friend zone means you're safe. We're always watching.
9. We need to be in control.
Leadership is one of our greatest qualities. People notice our "get it done" attitude and follow along.
We're in control of almost every situation because that's where we feel most comfortable.
We don't like answering to authority.
I've had issues with countless authority figures not because I don't respect them, but because it's in my nature to do things my way.
When we're not in control, we feel out of control. We stress out, overthink things and step on toes to make our way to the top.
Control is our strength and our weakness.
10. We have high standards.
We know what we deserve. We don't take sh*t from anyone, and we have no problems standing up for ourselves or the people we love.
We expect the best because we give our best.
A lot of people find this intimidating because we're always critical of things that could be better.
But more than anything, the worst thing about our standards is we're never good enough for ourselves.
We push ourselves past our limits and break ourselves down because we have to be the best.
If we're not careful, our high standards for ourselves can lead to self-destruction.
