Plan on stopping by a Starbucks May 3rd-12th, from 3-5pm, for Frappucino Happy Hour. That is, if you can get past the epic blunder of not naming this occasion “Frappy Hour”.

At participating locations, you'll find half off deals on all Frappucinos of any size, as well as the launch of a new Frappucino flavor: Caramel Ribbon Crunch. The newbie is joining existing flavors like Mocha Cookie Crumble, Java Chip, Vanilla Bean, Strawberries & Creme and more.

If you're the person who thinks that Starbucks tastes like burnt mud, and sadly looks on at the office while the Starbucks posse cheer their green straws, this is your chance to join the fun.

Frappucinos are arguably the tastiest and most marketable drinks on the menu. Topped with whipped cream and syrup, they are basically the adult version of walking around with an ice cream cone.

Frappucinos are the tasty treats favored by many celebrities, and are frequently seen in paparazzi photos. They could even be what got Britney Spears through her infamous 2007 breakdown.

Though a Frappucino wont break the bank for the rich and famous, the average American may find these drinks pricey, ranging from around $4.63 for a Tall (small) to nearly $6 for a Venti. The half-priced deal will bring the drinks down to a reasonable cost.

In addition to discounted drinks, the event is capitalizing on the ever-popular selfie. They are launching a “#sipface” campaign, calling on customers to snap a selfie sipping their blended beverages using the hash tag, #sipface.

With the healthy option to make it “Light” using non-fat milk and sugar-free syrup (a Grande Mocha Light comes in at only 130 calories), there's really no excuse to not go to your nearest Starbucks and get your Frap on.
