Expert Says Humans Will All Become Sexy Half-Robots By The Year 2029

by Jamie LeeLo

The internet says we are going to turn into smart, sexy robots by the year 2029. And you know this has to be true because the this info comes from a Google expert.

Yes, a GOOGLE EXPERT, AKA the modern man's God. We better listen up and take this seriously.

Google's Director of Engineering and self-proclaimed futurist Ray Kurzweil thinks that, because we live in a cybernetic society (essentially the communication between living and machine), installing computers in our brains is not that far off.

Kurzweil made his prediction about "technological singularity" at South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, claiming we can expect this massive science fiction freak incident to occur by 2029.

In fact, he claims it's already happening. He points to human's severe dependence and addiction to our phones as the baby steps toward wiring technology into our own minds.

I'm telling you, you can't make this shit up.

What even is "singularity," you ask? Well, it's simply when carbon and silicon-based intelligence come together to form a single global consciousness...OBVIOUSLY.

But put simply, technological singularity refers to humans gaining "superintelligence" (intelligence beyond that of mere humans) with the help of technology.

In his SXSW interview, Kurzweil explained,

By 2029, computers will have human-level intelligence. That leads to computers having human intelligence, our putting them inside our brains, connecting them to the cloud, expanding who we are. Today, that's not just a future scenario. It's here, in part, and it's going to accelerate.

However, Kurzweil is not concerned about this insane possibility, but rather, he's excited by it. He explains the evolution of computer brains will make us funnier, sexier, more talented and, of course, smarter.

His overall vision is that we will become a better, more capable species.

Sure, sure. What could possibly go wrong?

One way to wrap your mind around singularity is to consider modern day medical advancements. Things as simple as eyeglasses and all the way up to artificial organs are examples of how technology has already merged with human biology.

To make this matter even crazier, Kurzweil has an affinity for making correct predictions. Out of the 147 he's made since the 1990s, he has been correct with 86 percent of them.

So yeah, I'd take his word for it.

Regardless, my advice to everyone is to stock up on some non-perishable items, watch some episodes of "Doomsday Preppers" and watch the movies "Her," "Wall-E" and the TV series "Westworld" juuuust to be safe.

You can never over prepare for robots to take over our brains — that's what I always say.
