How Your Guy Friends Will Always Make You Feel Better When Your Girls Can't

Your main girls have been through everything with you, from heartthrob crushes to beauty emergencies.

They held your hair back when you got sick, and helped you plan the perfect first date outfit.

As much as you love them, though, sometimes they're not exactly what you need at the moment.

Every now and again, it's time for your guy friends to take over and help you through certain situations.

Here's how your guy friends will always make you feel so much better when your girlfriends can't.

Guys are straightforward.

A huge difference between the way guys and girls treat their friends is how straightforward they are. When a girl group has a problem, backstabbing and gossip are sure to follow.

With guys, however, problems are solved face to face; no name-calling or rumors.

Worst comes to worst, there's just good old-fashioned arguing. At least in this case, it's a consensual way of dealing with the problem, rather than talking about it behind someone's back.

No girl drama allowed.

Girls tend to stick to their squad, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. With guys who know where their loyalties lie, there's no reason for them to stick to just one group of friends.

Many guys fly solo from group to group, which makes them a lot more approachable when problems arise. It's a lot simpler to not have a bunch of people getting involved who don't even need to be.

When a guy hangs out with his friends, he's not going to blab about all of your problems. Odds are, his friends really don't care as long as they're not involved.

Living in #GirlWorld requires so much competition and destruction that guys just don't want to touch.

You'll gain an outsider's point of view.

Let's face it, the way girls can live in cliques causes a lot of unnecessary issues and baggage. What makes these issues so tough to deal with is you can't always rely on anyone in your group to keep your troubles private.

The last thing you would want is to make anyone feel like they're betraying another friend. This is where guy friends would be a great resource with their (hopefully) non-biased point of view.

They can give their honest opinion of any girl situation, without getting in between you and your squad.

They're all about that brotherly love.

When it comes down to it, your guy friends can get the job done, because they love you like a sister. They can intimidate others and be with you if you ever feel unsafe in a given situation.

As rockin' as your squad may be, give the guy friends in your life some appreciation. Guys are loyal to their friends, and will definitely be there for protection, support, or a good cry whenever you need them.
