The Key To Being Happy

The Key To Being Happy
Wellness

We spend our entire lives longing to be happy. Everyday, we make little conscious or unconscious steps to feel what we believe to be contentment.

Sadly, due to a string of external and internal bumps in the road, a great deal of people never find the happiness they’re looking for. Here a few ways to not only brighten your day, but your life in general:

Happiness Comes & Goes

Life works in balances, and not to sound cliché, but everything that goes up eventually comes down. Your mood is no exception. At this very moment, you may feel like you’re at the top of the world. Yet, it is wise to recognize that it can all change very fast.

The Key To Being Happy

The key to keeping your hopes up when everything seems to be going wrong is knowing that eventually everything has to go right again. It’s just the way the world works. Absolutely no one has or will ever be happy 100% of the time. It’s perfectly fine if you aren’t either. Besides, moments of sadness make small moments of happiness all the more worthwhile.

Do What You Love

This is as simple as it gets. Do what you love and all else will be sure to follow. Consequently, if you concentrate on doing what you love, with all your passion and might, nothing else will even truly matter. And why would it? The things you find fulfilling and satisfying are the all you really rely on to make a living. It’s the perfect opportunity to lose and find yourself at the same time.

The Key To Being Happy

Happiness Isn’t Out There. It’s In There.

This is probably the most difficult aspect to understand. Sure, materialistic possessions and statuses are pleasant, but there is no guarantee that they’ll ever truly make you happy. Happiness is an emotion you feel from your own internal recognition of it, thus it can only be produced from within.

The grandest mistake we can make is depending on an outside source to make or keep us happy. There are thousands of families across the world that are filled with immense gratitude just have basic living necessities. Be humble and grateful for all that you have, you’ll be sure to live with less worry and stress.

The Key To Being Happy

Don’t Be Afraid

Don’t be afraid to be happy. Fuck what society or anyone else may think. You live your life the way you want to. Only you know what makes you happy, so fucking do it. Life is too short to worry about the opinions of others. Don’t fear rejection for the sake of bettering yourself. Fuck it! If driving a bus is what you want to do, then you go out there and be the best and happiest fucking bus driver that there ever was. Just be happy.
