Indeed the saying may be a bit cliche and it sounds like a corny punch line that everyone likes to share on Facebook but there is actually a lot of truth behind it and it is indeed applicable to your life. This phrase refers to your life having a purpose and making name a name for yourself by taking full advantage of the time you have been given on this earth.

You have been blessed with the gift of life, so you have all the reason to do something special with it and have an impact on the world around you. But we can’t change the world until we change ourselves. We can’t manage to make anything out of our lives until we decide to stand for something and stand by it until death do us part.

You need to take responsibility of your own life because if you don’t, you will slowly fade into mediocrity and despair. The act of standing for something is completely dependent on your own passions and perspective. Stop worrying about what others will say or think about you, as they are not the ones living your life.

There are two kinds of people in this world: the ones that actually take life by the horns and make something out of it or the ones that will fall for anything and get stepped on in the process.

Stop playing the victim card in your life and own up to your ability. Stand up for yourself and what you believe in.  There are too many people in this world that don’t act on their beliefs and passions, only whining about the voids in their life and how everything isn’t good enough for them.

Instead of worrying about their lives and how they plan on running it they decide to worry about things that don’t have any significance which will make them fall for anything at anytime.

A fool is a fool just as a spade is a spade. You need to look yourself in the mirror and figure out what type of person you actually plan on being. Are you going to be a peasant, cry baby and someone who never amounts to something? Or are you going to be the one that turns into a legend because you have lived by what you truly love and believe in?

The foundation of your life comes form what you essentially believe. If you have no clear conviction that drives you to take a stronger stand towards your passion each day,  you will always be swayed by anything that comes your way. Just because it is the status quo or the popular belief doesn’t mean it is right.

There is no such a thing as right and wrong, only perception. You have a brain and a soul, so it’s important that you use them to stand for the wealth in your perception and do your best to spread this wealth for the good of mankind.

If you become a fool and fall for anything, your life will lack individuality, experience and ultimately, evolution. You will turn into an average person living an average life, slaving away for no real reward like everyone else in the rat race.

If you have a firm belief that drives you to act on your ideas about the changes that should be made to this world, however, you will be remembered for the mark you made on the society you lived in. Don’t be naive and easily influence. Influence others by informing them just how harmful to the soul it is to be naive.

Do you really want to be one of those people who is told what to do throughout their whole life because they didn’t stand for the aspect of their individuality that made them special? This is your life, this is your legacy and it is based on your decisions.

If people don’t like it, that is their problem. Show other people the beauty of your passions and beliefs and you will create a lifestyle that puts you in control of the kind of world you live in.
