It’s not what you physically look at that matters in life, it’s what you see in it. Our modern day society doesn’t seem to understand this concept, which is why we repeatedly bring things into our lives that don’t really have the value we think they do.
Our perception has been so skewed by the fallacious need for people, events and objects that don’t have any real significance in our lives.
So many people perceive life, the world and the people in it as the complete opposite of what they are really meant for. The true perception of actually being a human has been thrown off with worrying about the things that are important to others rather than worrying about what will really fill the void(s) we have inside.
“Everything in the Universe, throughout all its kingdoms, is conscious: i.e., endowed with a consciousness of its own kind and on its own plane of perception.”-H. P. Blavatsky
Materialism has played a huge role in this mistake as our society has become so obsessed with money even though no one wants to put in the hard work to actually get it.
Perception is what causes arguments, it’s what causes relationships and it is what develops judgment, prejudice and any point of view whatsoever. But what many don’t really understand is that there really is no such a thing as right and wrong, there is only perception. What you might see as right, many might see as wrong and there is no way you can convince them otherwise.
What you always need to remember is that how you perceive yourself and the life you lead is what will determine how your future will indeed unfold. Stop looking things to point the finger on such imaginary factors such as destiny or fate. We as human make our own destiny and that is the journey we decide to embark on based on our perception of our role in this world.
The person that says they can and the person that says they can’t are both correct because they first perceive their potential and then create a boundary as to its capabilities in their heads. Some know the sky is the limit where others are comfortable with the comfortable, which is why society is filled with average people. Their perception has told them that what they are doing in life is okay because it is what everyone else is doing so it must be correct at the least.
The trick is not to follow anyone else’s perception by creating your own based on your own experiences and relationship with the outside world. When you follow others in this regard, you lose control of your own decisions and thoughts.
You need to view yourself in the way you want others to see you. The perception of yourself is just as important as your perception of everyone and everything around you. It is what builds your confidence and allows you to walk into any room and take control of your environment.
If you don’t see yourself as someone that is confident and serious about their goals, no one else will. You need to determine which person you want to be and how to act and think like someone worthy of all the rewards you want to get out of your time on this earth.
“There is no fixed physical reality, no single perception of the world, just numerous ways of interpreting world views as dictated by one’s nervous system and the specific environment of our planetary existence.”- Deepak Chopra
Many people are stuck in their monotonous, routine-based lives and are unsure what to really do with themselves because they are unhappy for a multitude of reasons. The best way out of this pit is to alter your own perception. We must change the way we see the world and the way we see ourselves before our lives actually change.
Your perception of your ability goes with your will power to make something out of nothing. If you plan on being average and content with life and dying with a balance left on your mortgage then you are following the perception that was offered to you by society.
But if you actually want to have some sort of legacy in this world then you need to perceive your ability to the best of its kind and realize that you always have the opportunity to become a stronger person. Life only remember those who didn’t quit and what caused them not to quit is their perception of their abilities and the simple positive belief that one day, they will get what they have come to deserve.
The world is a tough place to understand, especially for those who are first being exposed to its harsh judgment and treatment. It has a dark cloud over it that causes people to chase things that they perceive as important such as money or those new shoes you just couldn’t wait to have.
What is really important is the amount of value you create in your life which is quite simple once you allow your perception to give you the right tools and help you through the journey.
Don’t ever worry yourself with what seems right or wrong. Act on your instincts and stand by the actions and decisions that feel right in your heart. Allow your perception of the world to be different than what it is now, have it focused on you rather than others and let it be what keeps you sane throughout this journey. Nobody’s walk into life is easy but eventually you will find your way because your perception got you there.
