Spot on Energy has revamped the way you recharge when your energy levels just aren’t where they need to be. Spot on Energy strays from the traditional energy drink or pill, and presents you with a patch.

This simple, homeopathic energy patch sets out to replace energy drinks and the unnecessary additives that come with them. Elite got a chance to sit down with co-owner, Barry Tatelman, and learn more about his newest product.

Was there a turning point in your life that led to your current direction?

Leaving a very successful furniture business I now have the luxury of doing what I like. I love the people associated with Spot On Energy and I totally believe it is a fabulous product. My turning point was selling my furniture business to Warren Buffett and hearing his advice to “Only work with people you like and things you believe in.”

What lead to the creation of a patch as opposed to a beverage?

My feeling is that most of the beverages taste like cough medicine. They also give you a jolt and a crash because it enters your system all at once. This transdermal delivery system slowly delivers ingredients to your body allowing a more even and consistent energy with no crash. No calories or carbs. It just makes sense.

What are some key aspects that make Spot On stand out from other energy drinks?

There’s no awful taste. No calories, chemicals or carbs. No jolt, no crash. Totally discreet.

How do you plan to keep expanding your brand into more industries in the future?

Everyone is looking for a lift. We will continue to expand the market as we progress. Baby boomers, male, female, professionals, moms: they all can benefit from Spot On Energy.

With people seeming to stray away from energy drinks due to health risks, how does your product attract consumers?

Spot On Energy is all natural. It contains no chemicals and is totally homeopathic and safe. It is the safe, healthy alternative to energy drinks and shots.

What is your dream accomplishment for Spot On Energy?

It becomes a household word. My dream is to get people to try it and feel confident that it makes a difference in their lives. I am very proud of this product.

Five, 10, 50 years down the line when you’ve achieved everything you aspire for today, where do you see yourself?

In 10 to 20 years I see myself much the same as today. Enjoying every day, spearheading fun and innovative projects, and helping my community. It is all a balance act.

How ‘Blackfish’ Is To SeaWorld What ‘Supersize Me’ Was To McDonald’s

SeaWorld has announced plans to expand the size of the tanks for killer whales at three parks. The parks claim this expansion was a long-term plan and has nothing to do with “Blackfish,” the documentary that has turned anyone with a Netflix account into a semi-informed, half-willing whale activist. “Blackfish” used the life of the killer […]
