Belief: What Separates Winners From Losers
To simply believe that it is possible is the hardest obstacle to overcome on the journey to success. Belief is what allowed people to fly the first plane, it is what allowed people to walk on the moon, it is what allowed us as mankind to to be the most advanced species on planet earth.
Belief is the secret to greatness, anyone will tell you that. It’s those who think they can that get what they want in this world.
Sure it sounds pretty simple and straight forward but it is some of the best advice you can ever take. Tony Robbins once said that 10 percent of success is actually mechanics such as the how to’s of the industry or work load, and 90 percent of it is based on your attitude and your psychological belief that it is actually going to happen the way you want it to. You have to believe it is possible before you can set out to do anything.

Charles Schwab was one of the first men in this country to make a million dollars a year. At a point in time when people were making 50 dollars a week, he decided that he would let his beliefs overpower what reality had bestowed upon society. He wasn’t smarter than anyone else and he didn’t have any magical powers, he just told himself that this world of opportunities had to have more in store for a man who dreamed that big.
Belief is what create opportunity and lets you evolve. Think about anyone that inspires you because they have the life and mentality you dream of having. Do you think they got there without believing that somehow, some way, if they just keep trying, what they are doing will get them what they want?
They stopped at nothing because their belief propelled them through the seemingly endless rough patches along the way. Those that throw in the towel when the journey gets too stressful do so because they don’t have the belief to drive them to the finish line.

Everything that is impossible becomes possible once someone has the belief to make it happen. It’s about not settling for what is already out there and understanding that if you go beyond your boundaries and the limits others have for themselves, you will be able to turn the impossible into possible.
Who would of thought that airplanes could give us the ability to fly? That was considered impossible just a number of decades ago. It all came down to the belief of the Wright brothers to change the world and the way we travel forever.
To be successful, you must understand what successful people do differently than unsuccessful people. Have you ever realized that the world is split between 90% of unsuccessful people and 10% of successful people? The reason for that is that so many lack the belief and strong will that it takes to be persistent in the face of a NO, the mentality that says it’s possible to love what you do and want to get up for work each day.
Successful people know that the power is within their attitude rather than their talents or track record. Think about how many talented people there are that never make it. That is because their belief in themselves does not measure up to the capabilities of their talent.

You must understand that the the universe will move out of your way after you commit to dedicate your life to making it do so. Stop settling for a mediocre life of excuses and blaming everything and everyone for your inability to succeed. At the end of the day, you are only responsible for yourself and what you decide to do with your life. The only person who can actually stop you from trying to exceed all expectations is yourself.
They who say they can’t and they who say they can are both correct. It all comes down to the strength of your beliefs, of your vision of your future. Whatever you choose to believe is going to happen. Life is a reflection of your perception of yourself and the world around you. You cannot achieve anything higher than what you currently believe you can.
Use your belief to fuel your positive outlook on life. It will give you the sense of action and urgency you need to go after what you truly want. Don’t worry about what everyone else is going to think of you or how you are going to survive if something goes wrong. As long as you keep believing in the likelihood of you reaching your goal, none of those things will matter.
