Dutch superstar DJ and producer Hardwell took the reigns for last night’s Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1. Hardwell, who Tiësto took under his wing, has taken flight recently and made a name for himself in the dance music world in his own right.

The mix contains a staggering 56 tracks, including collaborations with his fellow countryman Laidback Luke and his forthcoming single ‘Apollo’ which is out on November 26.
