Life Is A Lie: Kelis Says She's Never Even Made A Milkshake

Remember this? Remember naively assuming Kelis whipped up all kinds of delicious, homemade milkshakes to attract young men to her yard?

Well, prepare to have your childhood memories dashed, because Kelis recently revealed to The Guardian that she's never made a milkshake in her life.

Since "Milkshake" first changed the world 13 years ago, the pop icon put her music career on hiatus to become a certified chef at Le Cordon Bleu. She even published a cookbook titled "My Life on a Plate: Recipes From Around the World."

When asked by a Guardian reporter what would go in a “Kelis milkshake,” the singer said,

I don't think I've ever made a milkshake.

But don't they teach you how to make milkshakes in fancy chef school? And how else could she have gotten boys to her yard?? These mysteries will just have to go unsolved. Apparently, Kelis makes a mean smoothie, but it's hard to believe a handful of berries and some orange juice goes a long way with those boys. Sigh.
