Miami’s Ultra Music Festival is officially a legitimate music festival now that someone has died while attending. 20-year-old New Jersey resident Anthony Cassano “started showing signs of erratic behavior” at Ultra Sunday night shortly before he would be pronounced dead at the hospital that same night from “multiple organ failure” according to a police report.
Neither Cassano’s family nor Ultra organizers could be reached for comment.
Miami Police and Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s Office are currently awaiting a toxicology report before they can determine an official cause of death. Both authorities, however, believe that a drug overdose is the most likely outcome.
It will be weeks before a full toxicology report can be released.
Paramedics responded to a call at Bayfront park at 10:54 p.m Sunday night. After seeing that Cassano appeared to be having some sort of delirious seizure, he was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he would die about one hour later.
We’re going to go out on a limb and say that Anthony probably ran into this chick we used to know named Molly at some point that night before his organs decided to bail on him.
