With “Annie’s Theme” and his remix of Keane’s “Sovereign Light Cafe” taking the EDM world by storm, Afrojack is not slowing down one bit. Now, we are presented with a miniature preview of his upcoming 2013 album.

The preview is mostly made up of entirely brand new tracks (with the exception of “Air Guitar”), which bring Afro’s unique electro/Dutch-house style of uptempo dancey beats that are built to smash the biggest of EDM festivals.

However, what will take its listeners by surprise is the presence of trap productions on this album… yes, I said it, trap. Afrojack has apparently had some trap tracks in the making which will make an appearance on the upcoming album, and mark the first “Afrotrap Music” to hit the EDM world.

All together, this album promises to be one of the best releases of the year. Stay tuned to elektro for more release information to come soon!

Easter fell on 4/20 this year, which either didn’t affect you in the slightest or made you reevaluate your life’s core philosophy. If you like Jesus and honey-glazed ham, then you probably devoted most of the day to celebrating a resurrection. If marijuana is more your thing, then it’s likely you spent as much time […]

European Politicians Hold Rap Battle In Order To Gain (Or Drive Away) Young Voters

This is real. Members of the European Parliament recently descended upon Brussels to rap battle each other about important issues in front of a crowd of young voters. Four teams, made up of politicians and a “professional freestyle hip-hop artist” (perhaps the worst paying job in Europe), battled it out, representing four major European political […]
