A-Trak, A$AP Mob, Pusha-T Set For Vibe’s ‘V-Mix’ Bringing EDM & Hip Hop Together
Music News

After decades of patiently waiting, fans around the world are finally going to experience EDM music joining forces alongside with the  lyrical artistry of Hip Hop. This Thursday, November 29th, Vibe Magazine presents world-renowned DJ and producer A-trak joining forces with the A$AP Mob and Pusha-T for a unique performance.

The collaborative concert at the Best Buy Theater in New York City is guaranteed to be one of the most talked about shows this year.

Hosted by Hot97’s Funk master Flex, the first ever Vibe Presents show will allow Hip Hop and EDM to finally get down and nasty together on stage for your listening and viewing pleasure. All three artists will be performing simultaneously.

Long time electronic music fans remember being shunned for listening against the grain- for enjoying the unnatural sounds synthesized by computer algorithms- the same sounds, mind you, that can be heard all over your favorite radio station today. How is it that electronic music rose from European ashes and bridged over to the States? Electro Dance Music (EDM).

EDM is basically the fusion of the once shunned European music genre with the most prominent music genre of the 21st century: Pop music. With hard-hitting beats, escalating melodies and high-floating vocals, EDM has quickly become a worldwide craze. The question is: What now?

This isn’t a tag team match- these artists will take down the house TOGETHER. The talent and musical swag of A$AP Mob and Pusha-T, coupled with A-Trak’s coliseum filling, crowd vibrating sounds is sure to blend together harmoniously, bringing you a night that you will never forget.

The Company Behind Your Favorite Rapper’s Favorite Cough Syrup Will Stop Making ‘Lean’

Actavis, perhaps the most popular and recognizable brand of lean (promethazine and codeine cough syrup) is stopping production. They cited media attention and glamorization of the unlawful, dangerous uses of the drug, which of course, they never intended people to do. They also didn’t profit off it too much, or at least won’t anymore. It’s […]
