Cosmic Opera Hosts Charity Event At Arena On May 31st

The creators of Cosmic Opera are throwing a pop-up charity event to celebrate all May birthdays on Thursday, May 31st at the mega-club Arena. Located in the heart of Times Square, the club boasts 20 foot ceilings and New York’s largest programmable L.E.D lighting system, which will provide for Cosmic Opera’s signature lasers and production.

The line-up will feature performances by three of Manhattan’s highly acclaimed DJs: Dalton, Matt Goldman and George Garcia. Proceeds for the event are to benefit the Haiti Empowerment Mission, a charity close to the Cosmic Opera family’s hearts. The mission was founded by Michael Capponi in 2011, who has made over 60 support trips to Haiti since the tragic earthquake of January 12th 2010.

The organization’s near-term goal is to empower the people of Haiti by providing quality education, diverse vocational training and job creation. The ultimate objective is to create opportunities for the people of Haiti to have a self-sufficient and sustainable economy, eliminating their dependency on foreign aid.

For entry to this event, suggested donations will start at $10 and table service is also available. Contact info@thecosmicopera.com for more details, questions or inquiries or visit Cosmic Opera’s Facebook page.
