They’re one of the most talked about boybands on the planet. But their meteoric rise to stardom is showing no signs of abating as One Direction continue on their path to world domination.
The British boyband, who were only formed two years ago, proved that they’ve broken the US after a pop-up store, dedicated entirely to the group, opened in New York on Tuesday.
Stocking nothing but One Direction merchandise, the large shop, called 1D World, is situated on Herald Street, next to the Madison Square Gardens Arena.
A one stop shop for everything to do with the boyband, it proves just how phenomenally popular they have become since launching in the US.
With shelves stocked high with promo T-shirts, hoodies and even onesies, it’s clear that the record label is cashing in on their success.
Although the boys were in London when the shop opened, fans could make do with a series of life-size cardboard cut-outs!
