Pacha New York’s ‘Help Heal NY’ Benefit Raises $150,000 For Hurricane Sandy Victims

Pacha New York and RPM want to say “THANK YOU” to everyone who made the Help Heal NY benefit so successful and so special: The superstar artists who donated their talent, the local hospitality workers who donated their time and services, and the attendees who donated money, goods, and food at the door, all joining together to help rebuild New York – and have a great time in the process.

The one-night event, held November 14 at Pacha nightclub in New York, raised over $150,000 for local charities aiding victims of Hurricane Sandy (including the Greater New York Red Cross and HeartShare Human Services of New York), with performances from DJs like Afrojack and Erick Morillo.

It continues to raise additional money through online auctions, featuring items from the event: Fans can head to pachanyc.com/help to bid on items including the Pacha DJ console, signed by all 40 DJs; dinner with Danny Avila, Hardwell, or R3HAB; and a 4-day trip to Pacha Ibiza in Spain.

“We knew instantly that we had to do something to help rebuild New York, home to Pacha and so many of our employees and friends,” says Pacha owner Eddie Dean. “We’re gratified that so many amazing artists answered our call, not to mention the bartenders, security guards and other staff who graciously donated their time. It was a special night.”

The night went beyond Pacha’s four walls via live online stream, with over 12,000 people tuning in from all over the world. Memorable sets from a selection of the 40+ DJs will be made available in the coming weeks on pachanyc.com/help.
