Norman Doray was born in French Brittany, which is the place where he first discovered disco music with his family and then later electronic music through artists such as Daft Punk, Cassius and Junior Jack.

He began his career as a DJ in his 20s, quickly becoming a nightlife staple and a resident for several bars and clubs in France. Most notably, he was a resident at the Queen in Paris.

However, in 2005, he began to follow his interest in production and began creating his own music. His first release, “The Freshmakers”, was a collaboration with Pierre de La Touche and Arno Cost. Together, they created ‘The Freshmakers.’ Elite Daily caught up with Norman Doray for an interview to discuss his productions, his plans as an artist, and life as a DJ.
