The 10 Most Expensive Cities In The World
The Economist’s Intelligence Unit recently released the list of the world’s most expensive cities, based on a worldwide cost of living survey.
The survey determines how much it would cost someone to cover natural expenses such as transportation, food, clothing, rent and an average amount of personal products.
Tokyo took home the grand prize as the most expensive city on earth, as a result of several cities falling rank due to the weakening of the Swiss Franc.
The top ten:
10. Geneva (previous rank-3)
9. Caracas (34)
8. Paris (6)
7. Zurich (1)
6. Singapore (9)
5. Melbourne (8)
4. Oslo (5)
3. Sydney (7)
2. Osaka (4)
1. Tokyo (2)
