The National Center for Education Statistics have just released two interesting reports: the 2011 Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study & the 2011 Progress in International Reading Literacy Study.

Surprise, surprise, America actually did pretty well.

The study ranked fourth graders in the areas of math, science, and literacy. Here is the list of the top 16 countries with the smartest kids.
