Friday’s Biggest Gaining And Declining Stocks
Shares of the following companies were among those making notable early moves in Friday’s U.S. stock market:

Eastman Kodak Co.’s EK +9.51% shares rose 12% a day after the struggling photography company said it would sell its gelatin business.
Rambus Inc.’s RMBS +14.62% shares climbed 15% after the memory-chip designer late Thursday said it signed a licensing pact with Broadcom Corp. BRCM -0.24% .
SunPower Corp.’s SPWR +8.38% shares gained 8% after the solar-power company said it would acquire Tenesol, a unit of French oil company Total SA TOT +1.55% , for $165.4 million. As part of the deal, Total agreed to buy 18.6 million shares of SunPower at $8.80 a share, a 50% premium to where the stock closed Thursday.
TripAdvisor Inc. TRIP +5.16% shares rose 5.2% after UBS initiated coverage with a neutral rating of the online travel firm recently spun off from Expedia Inc. EXPE +0.93%
Decliners
Skyline Corp.’s SKY -8.32% shares slid 8.3% after Standard & Poor’s said late Thursday that Exterran Holdings Inc. EXH -4.51% would replace it in the S&P SmallCap 600 index as of the close of trading on Dec. 30.
