Nevada Gambling Revenue Spikes 7.1% Higher
The Nevada Gaming Control Board said Wednesday that November gambling revenue statewide rose 7.1% to $880.1 million.
On the Las Vegas Strip, which accounts for more than half the total, the take was up 9% to $495.3 million.Slot machine win on the Strip edged almost 3% higher while table games spiked 18%.
Shares of major Strip casino operators Wynn Resorts WYNN +1.67% , Las Vegas Sands LVS +1.37% and MGM Resorts MGM +1.92% were all up about 2% in morning action.
