Donald Trump Hardcore Trolled A News Anchor On Twitter After The Debate

by Sean Levinson

Easily, the most memorable moment from last night's Republican debate was when moderator and Fox News host Megyn Kelly asked Donald Trump about sexist comments he allegedly made in the past.

Kelly cited insults Trump made on his Twitter account and reality show before telling him he will soon have to prove he is not "part of the war on women."

Trump responded by saying he can't always have "total political correctness" and reminded her,

I've been very nice to you, although I could probably maybe not be, based on the way you have treated me.

According to The Washington Post, Trump later told reporters he believed his treatment at the debate was "unfair," and he believed Kelly "behaved very badly."

This was followed by over 30 tweets from Trump between 2:30 am and 4:30 am.

He began by retweeting posts calling Kelly a "loser" and a "bimbo."

"@RubenMMoreno: @realDonaldTrump The biggest loser in the debate was @megynkelly. You can't out trump Donald Trump. You will lose! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 7, 2015
"@timjcam: @megynkelly @FrankLuntz @realDonaldTrump Fox viewers give low marks to bimbo @MegynKelly will consider other programs!" — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 7, 2015 "@FrankLuntz: I'm getting a lot of @MegynKelly hatemail tonight. #GOPDebate" She is totally overrated and angry. She really bombed tonite — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 7, 2015
I really enjoyed the debate tonight even though the @FoxNews trio, especially @megynkelly, was not very good or professional! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 7, 2015

Many of the tweets suggested Kelly had a personal vendetta against Trump, whom she tried to "attack" but "failed."

It appears Trump still doesn't understand if the other candidates made similar remarks in the past, they would be getting those same questions, too.
