Dunkin' Donuts Coffee Is About To Get Really Cheap, But Only For Next Week

by Talia Koren

The prospect of drinking coffee is probably what motivates most people to get out of bed on any given weekday.

But next Thursday, $0.66 coffee at Dunkin' Donuts will have you waking up early to hit up the nearest location for a medium cup of joe on the cheap.

What's the occasion for this miraculously priced java, you might ask?

Well, fall is the season for many important holidays like Columbus Day, Halloween and Thanksgiving, obviously. But one of the most important holidays is actually right around the corner.

Yep, National Coffee Day is September 29. So next Thursday, you can celebrate your love of caffeine with a medium-sized coffee from Dunkin' Donuts for less than a dollar.

Fact: Dunkin' Donuts was founded 66 years ago (hence the $0.66), and its birthday happens to be National Coffee Day. (Sorry, Starbucks.)

And the most exciting part about this deal is, you finally have an excuse to go for the medium cup of Dunkin' Donuts coffee and get one of those styrofoam cups. (Am I the only one who likes to drink 8-ounce coffees? Sigh.)

Aside from a nice discount on their coffee, Dunkin' Donuts is also giving us the gift of a custom National Coffee Day geofilter on Snapchat for US locations for just one day.

Dunkin' Donuts isn't the only coffee spot offering deals and discounts on National Coffee Day, either. Places such as Dairy Queen and Tim Hortons are offering $1 coffee on September 29.

If you can't wait until next Thursday for all those deals, you can hit up Starbucks in the meantime for $3 Pumpkin Spice Lattes between the hours of 2 pm to 5 pm until Sunday, September 25.

So, don't miss out. You can find more discounts on National Coffee Day here.
