Everyone Says Trump Fell Asleep At His Inauguration And These Pics May Prove It
Will someone pour Donald Trump a cup of coffee? He seems to be pretty wiped out from the exhausting honor of becoming president of the United States.
Seriously… it looks like the big guy fell asleep during his own inauguration, and the people of Twitter are a little bit concerned (rightfully so).
Maybe he had a wild night out after the bumpin' 3 Doors Down concert at the Lincoln Memorial or maybe he was just taking a cat nap to energize for the victorious night that lies ahead.
Whatever the reason may be, a screenshot from the inauguration is enough to persuade you he definitely fell asleep during his own celebration.
One tweet that stands out, in particular, shows the Donald supposedly taking a snooze, and the caption reads,
Falling asleep on the job already #Trump I'm sorry that you're so bored. Why don't you take the weekend off? O wait… #InaugurationDay2017
If I didn't know any better, I'd say that's a picture of a sleeping Donald.
Someone else caught the somber moment on Twitter, and her caption reads,
Even Donald Trump decides to be sleeping during his own inauguration.
Well, his eyes look like they are most definitely shut, and I can't tell if he's sleeping or summoning the political gods for advice on how to be president (let's hope they answer).
Although others weren't quick enough to screenshot a picture of the slumbering POTUS, they certainly didn't hold back their tweets about his alleged mid-inauguration nap.
“I think Trump is falling asleep.”
By golly, I think you're right!
“He's sleeping through it already.”
That wasn't the only time Donald Trump was caught taking a little snooze during his inauguration celebrations, though.
Last night, he was spotted shutting his eyes during his inaugural concert for a few seconds.
It looks like the White House kitchen refrigerator is going to need to be freshly stocked with coffee and Red Bull because America has one tired dude in charge.
