Tuesday, October 4, Google changed the mobile phone game and dropped a hammer on Apple's head by launching its new phone, the Google Pixel.

According to reports, Google's new phone comes in two different models, the Pixel and Pixel XL, with the primary differences being in screen size and resolution.

Both phones are built by HTC but boast Google's Snapdragon 821 processor and are branded as "by Google."

The Google Pixel comes with a slew of new and exciting features, including Google Assistant and unlimited cloud storage, but one of its greatest features is its camera, which is being hailed as the best smartphone camera ever.

In addition to having the greatest smartphone camera known to man, the Google Pixel is also the first Daydream-equipped smartphone to ever hit the market. Every Google Pixel phone will reportedly be sold with the Daydream View headset, a virtual reality enabling device.

Apparently, the smaller 5-inch Pixel will retail for $649, and it's now available for preorder. There is also a 128-GB model of the Pixel available for $749.

The 32-GB Pixel XL reportedly retails for $769, and there is an option to purchase a 128-GB Pixel XL for $869.

According to reports, the Pixel and Pixel XL come in silver or black, but there is a special "really blue" option which will be available in some areas. For example, Verizon users in the United States will reportedly have access to the "really blue" Google Pixel.

Yeah, I know you're feeling a little unsure about that iPhone 7 purchase right about know, and I can guarantee you're not the only one.

Google's new Pixel looks absolutely insane, and it appears the company is going to do everything in its power to convert iPhone users.

I'm currently sitting here with my iPhone 6, staring at it like it's ungrateful or something, and it's all Google's fault. I need a Pixel, but I can barely afford rent.

Help.
