Donald Trump Wants To Stop All Muslims From Entering The US

Leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump apparently put out a press statement on Monday calling for "a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States."

The statement says, Muslims in America hate Americans. Trump added,

Where this hatred comes from and why we will have to determine.

One could reasonably posit that attempting to ban an entire religion from a nation might fuel hatred.

Soon after the press statement came out, Democratic candidate Martin O'Malley tweeted,

Indeed, banning an entire religion from a country seems more than a little reminiscent of fascism.

In fact, it seems absolutely f*cking batsh*t, misguided, insane, terrifying and, ultimately, dangerous to the millions of people who practice Islam, who are peaceful and productive and human and just trying to get by like anyone else in the world.
