The Ku Klux Klan is going to have a victory party for Donald Trump.

The Loyal White Knights of Pelham, North Carolina (one of the biggest Ku Klux Klan organizations in the nation), said on their website they will be holding a parade for Trump on December 3, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The website for the Loyal White Knights reads,

TRUMP = TRUMP'S RACE UNITED MY PEOPLE

If you've been paying attention at all over the past 18 months, this is hardly a surprising piece of news.

Trump began his campaign for the presidency with racism, specifically against Mexicans. Over the course of the campaign, he attacked Muslims and used anti-Semitic memes and rhetoric.

Trump also has been playing into alt-right language, which is generally recognized as white nationalist racism.

After taking some time and being asked a million times, Trump eventually disavowed former Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan David Duke, but the KKK has still seen Trump as their champion in making hate mainstream and legitimate.

Matthew Heimbach, a leader in the alt-right community, told the Huffington Post,

If they're ready to vote for Trump, they can't be too far away from being ready to support a real nationalist party.

Since Trump won the presidential election on Tuesday night, a series of racist and sexist actions have happened across the country.

Edward Tomasso and Parker Rand-Ricciardi drove around Wellesley College, Hillary Clinton's women's college alma mater, and harassed women.

Middle school students in Royal Oak, Michigan, chanted "build the wall" in their cafeteria.

Men hit Chris Ball, a gay man, on the head with a bottle, causing a massive amount of bleeding.

The inauguration is on January 20.
