President Obama Pretending To Be Caught in Spider-Man’s Web Is Reason Enough To Name Him ‘Person of the Year’

Today, Time named President Barack Obama “Person of the Year”. This, of course, sparked a debate about the merits of the decision.

There is, however, a very good reason why he was chosen as Person of the Year- Time included a link to a LightBox page showcasing a photo taken by the official White House photographer, Pete Souza.

“President Barack Obama pretends to be caught in Spider-Man’s web as he greets the son of a White House staffer in the Outer Oval Office, Oct. 26, 2012.”

This photo gives more reason for why our President was named Person of the Year than any words possibly could.
