Here's Whom UFC Champion Ronda Rousey Is Backing For President

Undefeated UFC Women's Champion Ronda Rousey is the kind of woman you want on your side.

Luckily for Bernie Sanders, Rousey is throwing her (bantam)weight behind him for the 2016 election.

In a recent interview with Maxim, Rousey says,

I'm voting for Bernie Sanders, because he doesn't take any corporate money. I don't think politicians should be allowed to take money for their campaigns from outside interests.

And, if Sanders were to lose to Hillary Clinton in the primary, Rousey said she would opt for a third-party candidate. She adds,

If he doesn't win against Hillary, then I'll probably vote for a third party again. To be honest, in 2012 I was against both candidates and so I just picked any third party because I thought if more people voted for third parties then they'd have to take third parties seriously.

According to Rousey, her 2012 vote actually went to comedian Roseanne Barr.

And don't be fooled by whatever Donald Trump has said in the past.

Over the summer, the Republican candidate claimed to have Rousey's support, which the professional fighter denied, saying,

I mean, I wouldn't vote for him. I just really wouldn't trust the guy with running my country, that's all. I'm not really going to get into specifics of it, but, I mean, I don't want a reality TV star to be running my country.

There you have it: one more awesome reason to look up to Rousey.
