A Photo Of Beyoncé, Jay Z And Obama Got Whitewashed For The Weirdest Reason

Twitter/wikiHow

I don't know why, I don't know when and I don't know wikiHow, but somebody whitewashed a notable picture of President Obama, Beyoncé and Jay Z.

On Sunday, Twitter users began posting screenshots of a weird photo that features three people who look awfully similar to the 44th POTUS and his superstar friends.

The bizarre picture is taken from wikiHow's tutorial called "How to Become a Congressman."

If you still aren't convinced, let me simplify things for you.

The wikiHow picture looks exactly like this photo of Obama talking to Beyoncé and Jay Z.

The resemblance is uncanny, down to the position of their hands and even to the wrinkles on their clothes.

Just about the only thing that's drastically different is Obama's hair.

That means someone took the original photo, which was tweeted by Obama back in 2012 when he was running for re-election (ah, good times), and decided to turn it into an illustration with white people.

Now, let's be clear about something: this is first and foremost hilarious.

Like, I can't even wrap my head around why this even exists and why someone went through the trouble of doing it.

Also, it's looks weird as hell.

But, don't get it twisted, this is definitely messed up on a certain level.

Not messed up enough for me to get "mad," necessarily, but I can't sit here and not point out the irony.

Hear me out.

On the one hand, the illustration wikiHow uses and/or made had to be drawn in a way that fit the hypothetical man who is featured in the tutorial running for congress.

OK cool.

On the other hand, somebody made the calculation that it'd be more believable to sell this tutorial with an illustration of a fictional white man becoming a politician.

The tutorial is finished out with a rip-off of a picture of a black man, who is an actual politician, never mind president.

It's kind of sad and hilarious at the same time.

(But definitely hilarious).
