Frat Brothers Caught Pouring Hot Sauce Over Genitals In Racist Hazing Pics

Tell me this stuff doesn't actually happen? I thought extreme hazing was just something from the movie "Old School."

But the guys from the Sigma Pi fraternity at Hofstra University in Long Island, New York, have proved the pledging is real in the most disturbing way.

Photos and videos have emerged purporting to show rituals that took place between fall 2014 and fall 2015 by the Eta-Gamma chapter.

One photo shows pledges blindfolded and covered in hot sauce, kneeled before a swastika. They allegedly had their genitals covered in ghost chili sauce as well.

During the ritual, one brother is believed to have said,

If you say anything to me I will make sure your balls feel the wrath of satan himself.

The extreme hazing came to light earlier this year when a former student and member of Sigma Pi's spring 2015 Beta-Alpha class, Syed Ali John Mehdi, sent an email detailing the extent of the abuse to national Sigma Pi institution, reports The Hofstra Chronicle.

Medhi said in the email,

We had this thing called "Hell Night." They'd throw hot sauce all over our body and we'd have to sit there for hours all throughout the night.

Medhi claimed pledges were made to sit in small cages, chug milk and vomit on each other.

One photo shows them laying on the ground covered in flour.

The chapter was suspended in March pending an investigation.

A spokesperson for the university said in a statement,

In March 2016, the university received notice that the Grand Council of Sigma Pi Fraternity International revoked the charter of the Eta-Gamma Chapter at Hofstra University for unspecified violations. As a result, the University immediately suspended the chapter, and requested more information from the Grand Council, which declined to provide any additional information. The university also made inquiries of several members of the chapter about the revocation. None provided any information or raised concerns about new member education. Prior to the suspension, there were no complaints of hazing against the organization in recent years.

The university mentioned that hazing is a violation of the law and its own regulations and such incidents are taken very seriously.
