Instagram is becoming more and more infiltrated by Facebook, as a new feature, “Photos of You,” allows people to tag people, businesses and products in photos.

The feature seems nearly identical to the “tagging” feature on Facebook, and will allow users to better track photos of themselves.

Before this, people could keep track of photos of themselves by creating a hashtag of themselves, something that could be regarded as fairly narcissistic.

Businesses can do the same, and create user-generated viral marketing campaigns with the click of a button.

We were loving Instagram because we weren’t plastered all over it the way we are on Facebook. Is Facebook ruining Instagram now? Only time will tell!

Check out the video below to understand how Photos of You on Instagram really works!
