Twitter Just Suspended The Most Popular Anonymous Twitter Account, Hell Will Break Loose

The hacktivist’s most popular Twitter account, @youranonnews, with 750,000 followers has just been suspended for violating Twitter’s privacy guidelines.

This, following the “dropping dox” procedure against the Westboro Baptist Church.

After the WBC said that it would be picketing the funerals of those that lost their lives in the Newtown shooting, Anonymous sent out and made public the church’s members’ private information including, addresses, emails, and phone numbers.

Twitter’s terms of use clearly states that:

“You may not publish or post other people’s private and confidential information, such as credit card numbers, street address or Social Security/National Identity numbers, without their express authorization and permission.”
