Man Uses A Teddy Bear To Bring Awareness To The Refugee Crisis (Video)

by Eitan Levine

Armed with a teddy bear, a heartbreaking photo and a simple message, one filmmaker is hoping to shed some much-needed light on the refugee crisis.

Writer and filmmaker Mario Garza's unique display featuring a teddy bear who “made it" to safety is geared toward raising awareness about the refugee crisis and hopefully influencing people to financially help out any way they can.

The description of the video reads,

I am not a rich man, so donating millions was not an option, instead, I decided to give a message to the streets of Portland by bringing awareness to the migration crisis.

His goal is to inspire the masses to donate to various charities helping out the refugees as they attempt to find food, shelter and stability.

Hopefully, it works.
