Funerals are usually time for families to grieve their deceased loved ones, but a 101-year-old woman in China decided she wasn’t quite ready to go.

Peng Xiuhua‘s unconscious body was found by her two daughters at their home on January 19th. She was pronounced dead and they prepared her funeral. They wrapped her in a cloak and placed her in a coffin.

As her family was grieving, Peng looked up, smiled and said “Hello there,” shocking all of the guests.

The mourning then became a celebration, as Peng was invited to her own funeral, which became a banquet instead.
