A 65-year-old male patient at a Philadelphia hospital is claiming that while he was in the hospital after a motorcycle accident last month, a young female nurse who was taking care of him raped him.

A police report shows the claim that the unidentified 65-year-old man was staying at Temple University Hospital when the alleged rape occurred on February 27th at around 3:30 a.m. in a hospital bathroom.

The nurse, who is said to be in her twenties, entered the room in which he was staying and offered to give him a bath. She then proceeded to sexual assault the man, but details of the encounter are not known.

A spokesperson for the hospital, which is one of the most highly regarded in the nation, said in a statement to NBC10 that officials from Temple University Hospital conducted an investigation and “found no basis to support the claim.”
