An unnamed 90-year-old man from Saudi Arabia married a 15-year-old girl, but then complained to police when the girl had allegedly been taken back by the family.

He is saying that the family ripped him off, firstly selling him the girl for $20,000, and then taking her back home.

Despite the age difference, the marriage seems to be a legal one.

The full account of the man’s story is yet to be verified, but nevertheless it seems that the girl will have to go to court to dispute the marriage formally.

It is believed by some that the girl and the older man got into some sort of dispute and that the girl left of her own accord.

There currently are no minimum marriage age requirements in Saudi Arabia, even though many are trying to set an age minimum.
