Abbottabad, The City Where Osama Bin Laden Was Killed, Is Building An Amusement Park

The city of Abbottabad, the Pakistani city where Osama Bin Laden was killed, is now working on building a new amusement park.

The park is said to include a zoo, a rock-climbing wall, water sports, a paragliding club and mini-golf. All this to boost tourism.

“This project has nothing to do with Osama bin Laden,” [Syed Aqil Shah, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's minister for tourism and sports] said, adding: “We are working to promote tourism and amusement facilities.”

The park will cost $30-$50 million and ought to be completed within the next five years or so. There are currently no plans of making any memorial for the death of one of history’s most notorious criminals.
