Alabama Man Steals Ambulance, Then Tries To Steal Two Horses
A man in Alabama decided to put down his video game controller and act out Grand Theft Auto in real life, as he stole an ambulance, two cars, and even tried to steal two horses.
Boaz Police say Matthew Anderson Todd, 24, committed the acts after being arrested for DUI after a car crash.
He was then taken to Marshall Medical Center South for treatment, from which he walked out, got into an already running ambulance, and drove away.
When the ambulance got stuck, things got really bizarre.
“He walked across a pasture and got into a barn where he tried to saddle up two horses,” says Boaz Assistant Chief Todd Adams. “One was two wild for him and the other he appeared to be too intoxicated to properly saddle the horse.”
He then stole a car, which he crashed, and then stole another car and got away.
The man’s injuries started catching up to him, so he went back to the hospital, where he was recognized and arrested again.
Not exactly a criminal mastermind, eh?
