It must be great being a billionaire… you can do ANYTHING you want WHENEVER you want. Umm… no, that’s not how the world works. Although money can buy you just about anything- maybe even happiness- it can’t make people overlook you breaking the law.

Bahraini Prince Mubarak Hamad, 29, learned this lesson the hard way when he raided the cockpit of Boeing 777 after one too many drinks.

After boarding the British Airways flight from Heathrow to Doha in Qatar via Bahrian, Hamad felt that the service provided in first class was sub-par and believed that he should let the pilot know (why he felt that the pilot was the one to inform or how the service could have been that bad if he got drunk immediately after boarding the plane, is beyond us).

The prince was asked to leave the cockpit and return to his seat. After he refused to do so the police were called in- they came aboard with stun guns and removed Mubarak Hamad from the airplane.

The prince was bailed out shortly but was told that formal charges were being pressed against him. However, it is not unthinkable that he will be able to buy his way out of this one.
