A horrific accident at a snack factory in Dalian in northeast China’s Liaoing Province has left a man literally folded in half.

The man was sucked into an industrial machine, which twisted and turned the man like a pretzel, disregarding his bone structure.

People flocked in order to help the poor man.

Some people began to disassemble the machine while others made sure it didn’t pull apart too quickly.

It took firefighters 15 minutes to disassemble the machine and gently free him.

He was rushed to hospital and into surgery, but no word on his condition has been made available since.

I expected this story to unfold in some scathing and embittered back-and-forth between two tenants. At first glance, my instinct was mistrust and skepticism. What If Superheroes’ Origins Weren’t So Tragic? (Video)

Each one of our favorite superheroes has their tragic childhood story that fueled his or her efforts into fighting for justice.
