Detroit Man Steals Father’s Body From Cemetery And Tries To Bring Him Back To Life

A man in Detroit recently stole the body of his deceased 93-year-old father from a cemetery in hopes of resurrecting the man through prayer.

The body of Clarence Bright was discovered today stuffed inside a freezer in his 48-year-old son’s basement.

Mr. Bright was taken, inside his casket, from a mausoleum at Gethsemane Cemetery on Monday morning, as witnesses reported seeing a white van pull up to the site shortly before his body was removed.

Police discovered the van with the empty casket parked at a Citgo station this morning, and arrested them.

One of the men was Mr. Bright’s son, and the other was a 38-year-old unidentified man.

A short time later, police discovered the body at the son’s home.

Mr. Bright had his funeral Saturday but he wasn’t buried yet because the ground was too wet.
