We’ve seen these videos time and time again where children are in the backseats of moving vehicles, being recorded from the front seat on camera phones.

The problem with this is, the videos are often clearly recorded by the drivers, who are paying attention to what their kids are doing rather than to the road in front of them.

If you saw a parent turned around while driving a car just to record something their kid was doing, you’d definitely be appalled, but we never have this perspective, as we usually just see the adorable actions of the kid in the videos.

The inevitable finally happened, but luckily, nobody was hurt.

This mother shows a parent recording her kids in the backseat while driving, not paying attention to her surroundings, and subsequently getting into a car accident.

It’s startling and shocking, but it may be the wakeup call that saves lives.

If you want to capture your kids doing something cute while youre driving, install a GoPro on the dashboard, get a passenger to record them, or pull the car over and record. No YouTube fame is worth risking yours or your children’s lives.

They were horrified by the ambiguity; they wanted to know if he lived, died or enjoyed drunkenly singing “Don’t Stop Believin’” as much as they did. The debate was resurrected […]
