A 22-person wedding party lined up on a dock to take a few photos an hour before the celebration, unknowingly exceeding the dock’s weight limit.

The Crosslake, Minnesota, dock collapsed with videographer Megan Fritze capturing it all on tape.

But while most brides would be distraught beyond compare, My Fox 9 reports that Jackie Anderson and her wedding party could only laugh at their misfortune.

Fritze told the station,

Coolest couple I have ever met. Jackie looked up, all smiles, from the water and asked if I got it on video. Great day to be around really amazing people.

Groomsmen and bridesmaids were still waiting for their tuxedos and dresses to dry when guests arrived, but the accident only delayed the wedding by about 10 minutes.

That’s nothing compared to what researchers at the University of Birmingham found when they swabbed 20 children’s car seats. The seats had about 100 different kinds of fungi and […]

We May Love The Fantasy Of YA Novels, But Boring Love Stories Are The Best Kind

I’m not the only 20-something in the world who loves John Green. Especially during the past few years, I’ve become acutely aware of this fact. His stories are compulsively readable — not dissimilar from the way YA novels tend to be. Yet somehow, he manages to insert insight and intelligence in a way most YA […]

Children Who Play Video Games Grow Up To Be Better Adjusted For The Real World

Video games have proven to be just like every other invention in our lives: We’re not better off without them, but more than likely they should be used in moderation. University of Oxford scientists asked 5,000 participants ages 10 to 15 (half were male and half were female), how much they play video games, in […]
