Ex-Con Ed Worker Accused Of Using Company Computers To Pimp Teen Prostitutes

Royce Corley, a 27-year-old former Con Edison employee, is being accused of using his company’s computers to pimp underage girls using Backpage.com. Corley allegedly set up at least two 17-year-old girls with Johns in a Gramercy apartment.

He was finally caught after the NYPD tracked the IP address used to a Con Edison computer. He is now facing up to 7 years in prison for 3rd degree promotion of prostitution, and is being held on $25,000 bail.

Richard Corley, the culprit’s father, said that the ads on Backpage were posted as a favor to a friend.

His lawyer added:

“These are baseless allegations against an innocent man and we will take the case to trial.”
