Is Facebook About To Launch Its Very Own Mobile Phone?
World

Rumors are spreading fast that Facebook is trying to get into the business of hardware, specifically in the mobile phone department, as it is being said that the “Facebook phone” is being ramped up as the next big thing to take on the iPhone.

Facebook has sent out invites to journalists to a special event at their usually secretive Silicon Valley HQ.

The invites promise to allow the journalists to “see what we’re building” – with most rumors pointing to a phone.

This is not the first rumor of a Facebook phone, as rumors have gone on for months about the possibility of Facebook jumping into the mobile phone market.

Rumors claim that Facebook has nabbed some engineers who worked on Apple’s iPhone and iPad, and the Facebook phone is expected to be built by HTC.

Facebook had previously worked on phones with HTC which had a specially designated Facebook button, which allowed users to access the social network with one click.

Is there a place for Facebook in the already overcrowded mobile phone market?

Why Majoring In Psychology Is Trending Among Millennials

“What’s your major?” If Millennials had a nickel for every time we were prodded with this question, we would be able to buy more ramen noodles than we could consume. If we got another nickel for each time the response was “psychology,” then we might actually be able to afford a nice meal. Not bashing on […]

Why Gen-Y’s Definition Of Beauty Is Skewed And How I Tried To Change It

The idea for this article, or maybe even experiment, started when my boyfriend stated: “We (guys) don’t like it when girls wear makeup; you girls are doing that for yourselves and to yourselves.” I was stunned and replied: “I bet you wouldn’t even have come to talk to me the night we met if I […]

An African Mobile Company Just Made Diversified Emojis So Apple Doesn’t Have To

Oju Africa, a branch of the mobile company Mi-Fone, launched the first-ever collection of African emojis. This is not only overdue, but a significant dig at Apple for the company’s apparent oversight. A quick visit to the mobile company’s Twitter page yields this descriptor: Sharing with the world my soul, funk and unparalleled 100% African […]
