Facebook May Allow You To Pay To Avoid Seeing Ads

No one likes ads. Unfortunately, sites like Facebook are businesses that need to make a profit.

Most people don’t find Facebook ads too bothersome, but for those of us that do: there may soon be a way for you to get rid of them. But yes, it will cost you.

According to a Boy Genius Report, the social network platform has plans to “introduce a monthly subscription fee option that gives users more features.”

If the feature passes, BGR believes that the ad boxes that currently appear on the homepage will be replaced by picture’s from the user’s own life.

Paying members may also receive perks such as being able to “display special status messages on their pages” and possibly even rank other users’ profiles.
