So here is one for the awesome yet creepy collection- Kim Ridley, owner of Ridley’s Rides in Eugene Oregon, has been having his daughter and her friends model cars for his business.

“Girls and dogs attract people’s attention,” he says mentioning that he sometimes features Max, his golden retriever, in his photo-shoots.

While the photos don’t seem to be tasteless… the girl sporting the short-shorts and flaunting her buttocks is the dude’s daughter- kinda gross. At the same time, it should be assumed that this is purely for business purposes and not for his own pleasure; or so we hope.

Unsurprisingly, many aren’t very supportive of Ridley’s sale tactics:

“The fact that a father has no problem objectifying and sexualizing his own daughter for personal game is just so disturbing,” writes Lindsay Cross from Mommyish. “To see no problem with these obviously exploitative photos is completely insane. This is the man’s child. It’s the girl he is supposed to love and protect, not take scantily-clad photos of to sell old cars.”

Are they really that exploitive? Was she forced to pose for them? No and no. Business is business- you have to make a buck anyway you can in these hard times. But maybe, just maybe, Mr. Ridley should consider hiring a photographer.
