53-year-old Mary Patricia Maloney, currently a 7th grade science teacher at Palm Springs Middle School in South Florida was arrested after hitting another car and then fleeing the scene. She wasn’t able to get far from the hit and run before she was arrested.

The arresting officer believed Maloney to be drunk, noticing an empty bottle of wine near the driver’s seat. The officer also noted that she made “random vulgar statements” when on her way to the station and even went far enough as offering the police officer to “fondle her breasts” and to perform oral sex on him if he were willing to drop the charges.

He wasn’t. This is Maloney’s third arrest since her previous DUI in 2009. She remains employed by the Palm Beach County School district awaiting the pending outcome.

“These are very serious charges and could subject the employee to discipline of suspension or termination,” said Nat Harrington, the district spokesman.
